Chalet Huwi is a truly wonderful property. It is an original Swiss chalet located in the beautiful Winkelmatten area of Zermatt. Pretty Winkelmatten with its ancient chapel, stunning views of the Matterhorn and local amenities is a lovely location.
There is a local shop, E-bus (to ski areas/village centre) and restaurants on your doorstep. It is also only a short walk to the Matterhorn Express departure station and a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of the village.
The chalet is arranged on 3 floors with a total of 4 bedrooms.
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, games room and ski room (aprox. 35m2), and stairs leading to 1st floor Here there is a wonderful south-facing living room with wood-burning fireplace and balcony with Matterhorn views, (42m2). There open-plan kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with everything you might need for entertaining.
On this floor there are two bedrooms comprising bedroom "Enzian" (17m2), bedroom "Primula" (15m2) and bathroom with bath/shower and WC.
A winding wooden staircase leads to the 2nd floor onto the landing and gallery. The master bedroom "Edelweiss" is wonderful -under the eaves with en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower units and WC. Finally there is bedroom "Alpenrose", again under the eaves (14m2) with en-suite shower room/WC . The living room and all bedrooms except "Alpenrose" have south-facing balconies with Matterhorn views and hot tub on balcony for winter guests
An attached 2-room apartment for 2 persons can be rented with the chalet making a total of 10 beds with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms
The chalet also enjoys a large garden with barbecue for our summer summer guests.

For this apartment the price includes a taxi from the station to the apartment on arrival.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- From 1st December - 30th April bookings run from Sunday to Sunday.
For cancellations up to 90 days before the arrival date your card will be charged Fr.300.
For cancellations up to 60 days before the arrival date your card will be charged 50% of the outstanding balance.
Bookings cancelled within 60 days of the arrival date or for no-shows the balance will become due.
For this apartment guests will be asked to provide credit card details as a damage security deposit.
Please note, this is a non-smoking apartment.
From 1st June - 30th September there is a 3 night minimum stay. Cheaper rates are available for stays of 7 nights or more. Please contact us for details.
From 1st December - 30th April there is a 7 night minimum stay, except where a booking includes nights between December 27th and January 3rd, where there is a 14 night minimum stay.
