The Winston Hotel is situated on the border of the historical centre of Prague,15 minutes walk from Republic Square,where the Powder Tower and the Municipal House are situated,as well as Wenceslas Square.
The building from the 1930s was fully reconstructed in 2005. To ensure the privacy and safety of our guests, both the rooms and the front door are secured with a modern key card access system, and the public areas are observed by video cameras. All rooms are non-smoking,but there is a smoking area in an outside courtyard. Please note that there are no kitchen facilities in these suites.
Continental breakfast is provided and consists of a combination of croissants, rolls or bread, cold meats, fruit, cereals, tea, coffee and fruit juices.
This three bedroom duplex apartment has a living area with a sofa, chairs, coffee table, a writing desk and chair. There is also a kitchen unit with a sink which also incorporates a mini bar.
In each of the three bedrooms is a double bed which can be separated into two single beds. A further two single beds are provided for extra guests. There are bedside tables, reading lamps and a wardrobe in each.
The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a hand basin, mirror, toilet and towel rail.

A safety deposit box and a hairdryer are both provided in the rooms.
A dry cleaning service is available on request, for a charge and is arranged once you have arrived. There is also a fax/photocopier available.
There is a multimedia PC set, satellite TV, DVD, CD player and IP telephone system in each room/apartment. The PC features a 17 inch screen that also functions as a digital TV, a player for CDs and DVDs, a CD burner, a port that allows you to read information from all memory cards (photo, video, notebooks, etc) and high speed internet access . There is also an IP telephone system, allowing you to make outgoing calls from your room at very advantageous rates (EUR 0.40 per minute to most countries around the world). The TV is Satellite TV with more than 200 free channels.
There is a charge for the internet access of EUR 5.00 per 24 hours. There is also private parking possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 11.00 per day.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- Please note that if you choose to pay the balance on arrival by credit card there will be a 5% surcharge.
- In addition to the initial booking deposit a pre-authorisation will be taken for the outstanding balance as security, prior to your arrival.
- A cot is available for a charge of EUR 10 per day. and a high chair for EUR 5 per day.
- A 4 night minimum stay applies between 21st March - 24th March 2008 ands also for stays including the nights of May 2nd and May 3rd. A 5 night minimum stay applies between 26th December - 3rd January.
- As with most hotels on arrival you will be asked to pay the balance of the rental charge by cash or credit card. An imprint of your credit card will also be taken as a security deposit. If you do not have a credit card you will be required to pay a cash security deposit of 200 Euros or CZK 5000. This will be refunded to you on departure assuming there are no damages.
- In the event of cancellation, your initial booking deposit will be non-refundable.
- Thereafter for bookings of 3 nights if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date you will be charged to the value of one nights stay. If you cancel on the day of arrival you will be charged the total value of your stay.
- For bookings of 4 - 7 nights if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date you will be charged a further 30% of the value of your stay. If you cancel on the day of arrival you will be charged a further 50% of the value of your stay.
- For bookings of more than 7 nights if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date you will be charged the value of 3 nights of your stay. If you cancel on the day of arrival or no show you will be charged the value of 7 nights of your stay.
- For bookings of 1 month or more if you cancel between 14 and 5 days prior to your arrival date you will be charged the value of 7 nights of your stay. If you cancel within 5 nights or less of arrival you will be charged the value of 14 nights of your stay.
- Please notice, during Christmas, New Year and Easter there is a special cancellation policy. If you cancel your stay more than 14 days in advance, there is no cancellation fee, if you cancel your stay less than 14 days in advance, the cancellation fee is 100 % of total costs.
