The apartment is right on the corner of Placa De Catalunya, the hub of Barcelona. You could not find a more central location. The famous La Rambla starts at Placa De Catalunya and stretches down to the port. On the other side of the Placa the fashionable Passeig De Gracia begins - lined with tapas bars, cafes, restaurants and boutiques, its a must-do. Behind the building the amazing medieval Barri Gotic stretches down to the beaches. The Barri Gotic, famous for its narrow streets, great shops and wonderful restaurants should be on everyone's to-do list !
Located on the second floor, with access by lift, the apartment is tastefully furnished. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows ensure lots of natural light and a real sense of space. The wooden floors finish off the apartment beautifully.
The large living room has a comfortable sofa, a dinning table and chairs, and a TV and Hi-Fi. The windows open onto a small balcony with view across to the Placa de Catalunya. You can even see the food halls across the road in Barcelona's famous department store El Corte Ingles.
There are three spacious bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a double bed and lots of storage for clothes. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and WC.
The second bedroom also has a double bed and a small balcony, again with views over the Placa.
The third bedroom has a double bed deck above a small double sofa bed. This will provide sleeping arrangements for as many as four guests - two on the bed deck and two on the sofa bed. We are offering this apartment to sleep 8 adults but it is possible to sleep 10 if at least two guests are children under 10.
There is a second shower room, with WC.
The kitchen, although not large, is well equipped with a four ring gas hob, large oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. All cutlery, crockery and pots and pans etc are provided.
The apartment is air-conditioned and centrally heated.
This apartment is fabulous base for a stay in Barcelona. The apartment and the location ensure this is a very popular apartment.

"We had a lovely break in Barcelona - the weather was gorgeous and the location of the apartment was perfect - just opposite the bus stop to and from the airport. The journey was completely hassle free since this time we took the aerobus from the airport and not the train/metro which was too hard to negotiate with luggage. The greeter was very helpful and suggested some nice fish restaurants near the Barceloneta metro stations. The apartment was exactly as the photos suggested and everyone was delighted with the central location. We walked to the Casa Battlo, the Pedrera, to the shopping and Barrio Gotic areas and the Rambla. We went to a great classical guitar recital in a church in the Pi area and were able to stroll home afterwards."
