Comments from Guests that stayed at this apartment...

"Greeter was really friendly and helpful and flexible about check-in times and leaving our bags. That made everything run really smoothly. I really liked the fact that everything was provided to make for a home from home - salt and things in the kitchen, enough toilet paper, even a note saying we could use the phone and a complimentary bottle of wine - it was all very welcoming and generous. Loving Amsterdam was also helpful and reasonable when we had to be offered an alternative apartment."

...Isata, United Kingdom, October 2008.

"Thank you, I had a wonderful time. I don't normal write Thank You notes, but I just wanted you to know that was especially impressed with Marijke ... she was extremely courteous and helpful, even when I arrived early. She is certainly a benefit to your organization. I hope that you will forward my compliments to her. It is because of her particularly that I will be a return customer, probably in a short couple of months. "

...Christopher, United States, September 2008.

"We loved everything about the apartment and will certainly return at the earliest possibility."

...Louise, United Kingdom, September 2008.

"FANTASTIC APARTMENT!! LIKED IT SO MUCH ONLY WENT OUT FOR A MEAL TWICE!! IT WAS JUST LIKE LIVING IN AMSTERDAM, AND BOY DID WE ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE. AS SOON AS WE ARRIVED HOME LOOKED WHEN THIS APARTMENT WAS AVAILABLE AGAIN!!! WILL BE RETURNING!! MANY THANKS!!!!"

...Carys, United Kingdom, March 2008.

"Many thanks for a really wonderful few days. We would absolutely recommend you to our friends and family. Amsterdam, the apartment, and in particular its location were all exceptional. "

...Phil, United Kingdom, February 2008.

"We would recommend this appartment from every point of view. The views from the windows were great, you could snuggle up with a book and just watch the world go by!! Set in a very central location and within walking distance to practically everything. Apparment was clean and had a great selection of both reading and DVD material!! Also the water bed went down a treat with the kids!! Only downer was could not work out how to use the oven!! The greeter was lovely and on time to meet at the appartment and a BIG thank you for letting us check in earlier than is stated in your website. This was a great favour with the kids who were soooo tired. Anyways we travel to Amsterdam 3 times a year and we always try to stay in a different appartment each time but his was so far our favourite. A great website and well run. "

...Wendy, United Kingdom, February 2008.

"We would highly recommend this apartment for a number of reasons. The location, the facilities, the view, the little extra's that were included, the greeter (who was very lovely and most welcoming).....etc etc. We cannot say enough about how wonderful this apartment was, we had a truly unforgettable time and was able to immerse ourselves in 'Amsterdam', overlooking not one, but two canals......we cannot have imagined a more perfect place. The apartment had everything you needed, and more, and was tastefully furnished. Thank you !! We will be back and we will be recommending this apartment to everyone we know. Everything about Amsterdam is amazing. What a city !! "

...Marc, Singapore, January 2008.

"A really enjoyable stay once again in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, the apartment was super, location perfect and a very friendly, warm and helpful greeter."

...Karen, United Kingdom, December 2007.

"This was really easy to book and we were kept informed at each stage. Our greeter was really helpful, was there when he said he would be, shown us how everything worked and told us to call him if we need any help with anything. This is a really good service. The apartment was better than I expected. It was clean, well kept and had everything in that you could possibly need. The only one thing I would suggest is more water in the water bed please, but we did love the water-bed. The website description has really good pictures and accurate descriptions. I do think the directions to the apartment could be better though. The area is fantastic, We don't wont to stay at any other place from now on. Apart from the water-bed and directions to the place, every thing else was great, the bottle of wine when we arrived was a really nice touch and Jack was great. It's those little things the make the stay special. As soon as I can book flights for next May and Oct we will rebook that same apartment. Thank you for making our stay so great. "

...Carol, United Kingdom, October 2007.

"It is one of the nicest apartments in the Centrum as far as I could tell by inspecting from the outside. I do not think the website does it justice. After being in Amsterdam a while, I realized how precious it was to have a bay window, an entire floor with windows at each end, and a small deck with plants. In addition, the location is one of the best-- being on a small canal in a quiet area that feels like a neighborhood but just a short walk to entertainment."

...Elaine, United Kingdom, July 2007.

"Dear Kevin and Loving Amsterdam! We loved the apartment. We had difficulty with the water bed !!! Not sleeping on it but exiting from it! It was difficult climbing out of it without making the other seasick. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and it was good to have the other bits and pieces left behind by other previous guests. Jack your "greeter" greeted us beautifully. We could have done without the smoking stuff (which was smelly) but then we are both allergic to tobacco smoke --so how much more then the other "stuff". We loved the bells--we shall miss them. And the dappled view through the trees of "our" canal. And the sense of achievement when we worked out that a straight line is not the fastest way to walk around Amsterdam. Thanks for taking the trouble to ask us for "feed back"....Best wishes "

...John, Australia, June 2007.

"Absolutely awesome! Our stay in the Red Tulip apartment was fantastic. Everything was provided and easily accessible. This was my first time abroad so I wasn't quite sure what to expect in accommodations. The Red Tulip was fully equipped with everything needed to have an enjoyable stay. And we did! "Jack" our greeter was totally helpful in navigating the chaos that is Amsterdam. Jack went above and beyond in duty by staying accessible while we endured multiple flight cancellations & delayes in arrival. This apt. is obviously one of the larger in the area we stayed, we were right on a side canal near 2 roadways and experienced no noise that was unpleasant. The apartment is directly under a church bell-tower so...you will no when it is 8 a.m. for sure! The area is within easy walking distance to ALL sites; stumbling distance from the RLD. Every major appliance was there. TV, Radio, DVD/CD, and wireless Internet were all of the utmost quality and easy to use. Yes, Yes, Yes!!! I will be back and will stay in this exact apt. I have already recommended Loving Amsterdam to family and friends and they, too, have booked LA Red Tulip apt! Our greeter Jack met us in front of a local beer pub called Engelbewaarder---great "local" atmosphere and very close. The apt in right next door to a Thai restaurant and around the corner from a local grocier, Albert Hijn, and several little cafes---I recommend Cafe Diego's salami pizza with a cold Grolsch. And, for the adventuresome, Bluebird and Basjoe coffee-shops are within singing distance!Amsterdam was great. Thanks Loving Amsterdam for such a memorable experience. Thank You & We will be back!"

...Jason K, United States, May 2007.

...Adele, United Kingdom, April 2007.

"We had an excellent time on our visi.t The apartmnent was great, comfortable, clean, spacious and we loved the window seat with the canal view! Jack was very friendly and helpful, easy to talk to very comfortable person. The location was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We had a perfect time and hope to come back soon!"

...Daniel, United States, April 2007.

"Just a note to say that we had a fantastic time in Amsterdam. The apartment was wonderful, perfect. We would recommend your service to anybody wishing to stay in Amsterdam in fact we won't ever stay in a hotel again. Absolutely brilliant! The apartment was fantastic ,couldn't fault anything. The location and area of the apartment was very good. Again have nothing bad to say. We had a wonderful time. Go to a Dutch brown café any one will do, they are friendly, un-expensive and you feel that you are actually in the Netherlands have a beer with the locals. "

...Arthur, United Kingdom, December 2006.

"We had a very good stay in Amsterdam and found the whole of the arrangements more than satisfactory. The apartment was clean and well-equiped. It was also as described on the internet. The greeter, jack was very welcoming and helpful and we particularly appreciated the reliability & courtesy of the taxi service recommended to us: especially as we had to leave for the airport at 5.30am!... We hope to book an apartment in Prague later in the year! "

...Peter, United Kingdom, April 2006.

"Our stay in the Red Tulip apartment was wonderful. The location is great. The view of the canal makes the difference. "

Recommendations from Guests that stayed at this apartment...

"Would highly recommend Chao Phraya Thai Restaurant in Nieumarkt Square."

...Louise, United Kingdom, September 2008.

"If Coffeeshops are your thing in the Dam. You definately need to check out Basjoes, it's just across the bridge beside the apartment and it's amazing. The Supermarket is only 5 mins walk from the apartment and is great, very handy to get the essentials for the trip."
