Comments from Guests that stayed at this apartment...
"Myself and 2 other girl friends stayed in you apartment from the Friday until Monday and we had a great time. Amsterdam is beautiful as was the apartment building and the apartment itself. We could not have asked for more. The location allowed us to walk away from the busy streets but to be honest we spent most of our time in the busy streets!! I would use the website again and I will definitely tell my friends about it. We bobbed our heads into some of the hostels and for what they charge an apartment with your own bathroom etc is much more reasonable. Thank you for making our trip memorable and we hope to use again in the near future!"

"Just a short note to say thank you for all the support you have provided for my son Adrian and his friends while they stayed in one of your apartments in Amsterdam. Everything was spotlessly clean and "problem free" and they had had a fantastic time."

"Really pleased with the apartment, saw an earlier comment about the stairs if you don't like climbing stairs then your probaply shouldn't visit Amsterdam as you will find steep stairs everywhere in Amsterdam.

"The check in process was great (much better than last time when we went to Barcelona (with a different company - Oh Barcelona - where we had to trawl up and down stairs to check in/out). Our greeter Sonja was so helpful and gave us good tips and advice. It was great to know that she was in the same apt block if anything went wrong, and also when checking out. The apartment was more than Satisfactory-small but as expected. Nice hot showers and comfy beds. I know it's not a hotel situation, but using the same towels for 3 days isn't great! You might argue that we should bring our own towels but given the luggage limitations on flights these days, it is not feasible. The building that the apartment is in was More than Satisfactory-for us, but I feel that if you were any older/less able bodied that it would be difficult to get up so many flights of stairs. The area that the apartment is in is very central and easy accessible. Thank you-we will use the site again as the freedom of your own apartment is great compared to a hotel. We re-iterate the need to have check in and check out facilities as close to your apartment as possible."

"Thank you, I had a great time in Amsterdam(as always) this trip was very satisfactory in every way, its the first time i've booked an apartment in Amsterdam and will certainly be coming back to you. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
Kind Regards"

"Katja and Sonje the greeters were really lovely. They were very welcoming, chatty and friendly A+++++.. If you are interested in a reasonably priced drink go to De Gieter - nowhere to sit but we had the best nite there. All of the locals were extremely friendly - nice place.

"Our greeter Sonja could not have been more helpful throughout our visit. We were all absolutely delighted. The apartment was exactly as we had been led to expect from the website, no more, no less. However, an older customer might have been inconvenienced by the number and steepness of the stairs -- North Americans seldom need to deal with this at home, so a warning on the website might be a good idea. For younger customers like us, this drawback was more than offset by the better view from the top floor (yes, it's only more roofs, but for Americans that's very romantic), so you could note that as well. Also, much quieter than we had expected, given its location on map (near harbour, train station, and main road). The building that the apartment is in is very well maintained, and full of character, within walking distance of everything, and it seemed like a pretty safe neighborhood. We would absolutely recommedn Loving Amsterdam to family and friends, and feel free to use us as references for customers from Calgary. Visitors should buy detailed maps of the city if they intend exploring on foot -- It's very easy to get lost, and we found that even people born here would ask us for help as soon as they saw we had a proper map. I would probably warn visitors that, in general, Amsterdam restaurants are quite expensive compared to those of similar quality in North America or Germany, and that going to a slightly less expensive one is usually not worth the saving, as a 10 Euro hamburger can be worse than basic McDonalds. However, for 20 Euros a person, you can be fairly sure of getting a good and intersting meal. Arirang is one of the best Korean restaurants we've visited (and we visit a lot); Korean cuisine is one of the lesser-known wonders of the far-east.The art-deco cinema downtown is amazing. The Van Gogh & Riijks museums are obvious choices; if possible, attend on weekdays to avoid lineups. The main shopping strip was impressive, but we found some more interesting stores outside that area. Modern architecture is a hobby of mine, and I have never seen a city with such an impressive range of exteremely well designed new buildings -- not the major public works like museums and government offices that usually get noticed in other cities, but smaller ones like apartments and office buildings, etc. particularly South-East of the centre (I think). Next time I visit I will rent a bicycle and explore this systematically."
